The Backstory: This scene
finds close friends Fabricio and Mireia coming to grips with divergent
perceptions of who they are and where life will take them. Fabricio has finally
relented to check out Mireia's somewhat troubling, and in his mind frivolous infatuation
with singing, while Mireia is stunned to encounter Fabricio anywhere other than
the library. After grasping for the first time how truly talented Mireia
is, we see Fabricio's tumultuous, desperate attempt to secure his place in Mireia's life.
